Revolvers
| A word or 2 about the western six
shooter revolvers, that are used in our show. There are many that may be used, that
conform to the time period of the old west. Any model that was made in the 1800's
will do. If you decide to get a Blank Firing Revolver there are a few things you should consider. ADVANTAGE: Black Powder Reproductions such as a Uberti
or Pietta are a better choice, than the blank firing guns. My first choice would be
Uberti with Pietta a close second. They both make excellent reproductions of the
period and can be gotten at a good price if you shop around. However, you are still
paying for your own powder, primer and wads. Some BP choices that can be converted to suit CMSA
and our stunt show are the Walker .44 Cal, the 1858 Army-Navy .44 cal, the 1860 Army .44
cal, the 1875 Army-Outlaw 45.LC and the Schofield-Smith & Wesson Top Break 45 LC that
are made by Uberti and Pietta. Pietta has a few additional models, as well.
The favorites and most well known revolvers are pictured below and made by both
manufacturers. A side note: Uberti is a subdivision of Baretta Firearms.
Cimmeron and EMF are expensive and they sell the same Uberti and Pieta revolvers
that other companies If you can afford a
cartridge revolver, outright, then I suggest the Uberti Hartford, Cattleman or Lawman 1873
in .45LC. If you have other questions just ask. Its
better to ask before you spend than to get stuck with something that is too
